Summer School

Summer School of Polish Language and Culture
Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań
We are very pleased that we can welcome you to our 2025 AMU Summer School! We have created such a program so as to make you more familiar with Poland: the country of Maria Skłodowska-Curie, Olga Tokarczuk, Nicolaus Copernicus and Robert Lewandowski. The country of pierogi and żurek (Polish sour rye soup), milk bars and Łowicz cutouts. What connects all of us, coming from many countries all over the world, is the love for Poland and its language.
There are so many interesting things ahead of us!
In addition to the language courses, you will be able to attend lectures in both Polish and English on Polish culture, history, literature, and film. We also offer thematic workshops, integration activities, film screenings, and trips.
This year’s course will take place from July 21 to August 8, 2025.
We invite you to watch a film made during the Summer School in 2022 by WTK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh0LSdmfJko
We want you to get to know Poznań and Poland as a country of many green spaces, with a variety of natural wonders, using the outdoors for museum exhibitions and concerts. Poznań has many urban green spaces, forest areas and lakes, where you can spend your leisure time in nature and escape the heat and noise during the summer. After all, nature goes hand in hand with culture.
We think you’ll enjoy this! You’re welcome to join us!
